Retail Associate

This job sure isn't boring! The Retail Associate is the glue that keeps everything running smoothly at our stores. This role works mostly independently, so your primary contact is with our customers - making a great impression every day and reminding them why they enjoy coming to us for their water needs.

Your job is to provide excellent service for all internal and external customers.

  • Be the welcoming face and voice of Clearwater. Helping customers over the phone and in person at our store.
  • Schedule customers for service, answer product questions (or find someone who can).
  • Accurately ring up sales/exchanges/returns on our POS. Previous cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Load softener salt and bottled water into customer vehicles. Requires the ability to regularly lift/maneuver/load product that weighs up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift operation to move pallets of salt or equipment around the warehouse. We will train and certify you.
  • Maintain inventory. Count all the widgets from time to time.
  • Keeps retail location clean and presentable both inside and outside. This means dusting, sweeping, scrubbing when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer experience and/or retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills including in-person and telephonic.
  • Solid computer experience and cash-handling required.
