Retail Associate

Customer Impact: The Retail Specialist is responsible for providing excellent service for all internal and external customers by using knowledge of company products, policies and processes to solve problems and address concerns. The individual must also communicate effectively with team members within the customer service department. Retail associates receive a $50 bonus for every completed sales appointment they set with customers and another $50 bonus if equipment is purchased.

Overview: Full time benefits include earning vacation time and holidays right away. Get paid early with On-Demand payments. Other full-time benefits including health, dental & vision are available within 90 days. We are closed on Sundays and holidays. Most work is conducted between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Key Duties:

  • Provides timely and accurate information to customers regarding order status and product requests.
  • Resolves customer concerns. Escalates matters to management when necessary.
  • Assists customers by scheduling service and/or installation appointments.
  • Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department procedures.
  • Works with other teams within the company to make sure that customers get to individuals who can assist them.
  • Supports company's customer care team by taking telephone calls and providing a high level of service to our customers. Some outbound calling may also occur.
  • Provides timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Enters accurate information into the Clearwater database with a high attention to detail.
  • Transacts customer purchases through POS.
  • Welcome customers and assist them with loading salt and water (must lift 50 lbs.)
  • Forklift operation to move pallets of salt and water (will train.)
  • Maintains inventory.
  • Keeps retail location clean and presentable both inside and outside.
  • Represents Clearwater with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer experience and/or retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills including in-person and telephonic as well as solid computer experience and cash-handling required.
